Karen Monroe MD is a board-certified Family Medicine physician and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

She graduated from the USF College of Medicine and completed a USF-affiliated internship and residency.

She has worked in the cannabis industry for over ten years and brings deep, specialized expertise to every patient encounter.

She is a compassionate and caring physician who puts her patients first — offering flexible, convenient consultations that fit your life.

And yes, she will meet you at your home or nearby coffee shop for your initial or transfer appointment at no additional charge.

I began working with Dr. Monroe as an intern medical assistant in 2009. When I graduated in 2010, Dr. Monroe offered me a full time position. I was promoted to office manager in 2016.


I couldn't have been paired with a more suitable doctor. Dr. Monroe truly cares about the patients and I love seeing the difference we can make in people's lives.It is truly rewarding.
